I finished reading this book a little while ago but have only now had the chance to let you all know what I think. The arc was given to me by Sherri Hayes prior to the books release in exchange for an honest review.
Their are four books in the Daniels Brothers Series and What Might Have Been is the final book. In case your wondering, yes, you can read it as a standalone, I did and I can assure you won't be disappointed.
I really enjoyed reading this well written contemporary romance. The story is engaging and kept me interested the whole way through. I fell in love with the characters, especially Trent. Luck Abby. He's one hot, determined man who know's exactly what he wants. I also enjoyed the cameo appearances of the characters from previous books. This is the first Daniels Brother's book I've read but, after getting to know the other members of the family, I definitely have the first three Daniels Brothers books on my to be read list now.
Blurb: What Might Have Been
Trent Daniels only has one regret in life. Nearly fifteen
years ago, he let his high school crush, Abby Hoffman, go off to college in New
York City without telling her how he felt. Ever since, he’s wondered what would
have happened if he’d been bold enough to tell her his feelings.
Abigail Hoffman left Ohio behind long ago and with it the family that had taken
her in and embraced her as one of their own. She’s missed the Daniels family,
but she couldn’t bring herself to face them again—not after what happened. Now
her job has brought her back to the place she’s done her best to avoid and
right smack into Trent Daniels.
