New Release Sneaky Peek - Torn Between Two Lovers by Jennifer Denys

Torn Between Two Lovers by Jennifer Denys is the second in  her ‘The Haunt of the Wolves’ series. The book is released on the 25th June and is available from Siren Publishing at www.bookstrand.com/torn-between-two-lovers
Genre:  Paranormal (werewolf)/BDSM/MFM
Length: 40k

Blurb:

The mysterious werewolf entity from ‘Collared by Wolves’ is called on again when lovely submissive shifter Evie Pierce, runs out on her alpha werewolf Dom, tall and hunky Stefan Russell. A handsome human, Jace Talbot, a visitor to the area, who doesn’t know that werewolves exist, rescues her from malicious rogues who attack her in the forest.

As she recovers they begin to fall in love, but Evie has a dilemma. She is torn between Jace and his sensual, romantic ways and her old BDSM life with Stefan, and all the excitement that brings.

A confrontation between the two men leads to a stark realization, horror, and betrayal. This changes all their lives as they struggle to understand what has happened, and then a natural disaster means the two men have to work together. But what will happen once it’s all over? Whom will she choose? Human or werewolf? Gentle or rough?

Excerpt:

The rain lashed at Evie’s face as she exited her car, hitting her cheeks like pinpricks, and she turned away, causing her hair to blow into her eyes. Irritated, she swiped it away with a growl.
“Dammit!”
Like members of her wolf family, she abhorred storms. It didn’t matter when she was in her wolf self as her fur was thick and waterproof, but when it was turning into a gale like this one was, she instinctively wanted to find her fellow wolves and curl up under the pines, noses tucked in, sharing heat, staying safe.
Instead she was in her human form about to visit Jace.
Things had got better with Stefan. In the last week he had worked hard to refresh her submissive training, and it had been successful. She seemed to have gotten past her fears. In the meantime, he was somehow gentler than he had been before, more caring. It was a welcome surprise. Evie wondered if it was because of the attack or because he feared her leaving him for Jace.
But whether to marry him or not was still up in the air, and she knew he desperately wanted an answer from her. He had even gone as far as telling her that he would take no other submissives if she was his mate as well as his sub.
“Really?” She had been skeptical.
He had cupped her face. “If that’s what it takes for you to be my mate.”
Evie believed him, but somehow, her past jealousies didn’t matter that much-except Brenda. She would always be the thorn in Evie’s side. The issue instead was which of her lovers she would miss more if she had to give one up. That was why she was now standing outside Jace’s front door—to make a decision one way or another.
Meanwhile, part of her was apprehensive that Jace wouldn’t want to see her or his leave was about to come to an end. She wondered if she had told him she loved him when they’d been together if it would have made a difference.
Evie gave a wry grin. The ideal situation would be to have two men, like Tasha had her four. She’d have the best of both worlds then, Stefan and the BDSM, Jace and the romance—except that Stefan would never allow it. She was also concerned what Stefan would say if he found out where she was now.
The wind changed direction at that moment, and a huge gust blew her forward just as Jace opened the door. Bracing herself for hard wood, instead she landed in a pair of soft arms. A welcoming embrace, she thought. Or maybe that was just wishful thinking.
“Whatever are you doing out here, Evie? For God’s sake, come on in.”
He ushered her inside and then struggled to close the door against the wind before turning around to face her.
Evie didn’t say a word, just drank in the gorgeous sight of him. His dark hair glittering with raindrops, eyes that seemed confused yet pleased to see her.
“It’s hell out there!” He smiled and shook his head to rid himself of the water in his hair.
Her heart fluttered. It was such a wolf thing to do she had to remind herself that he was human.
Clearing her throat, she finally responded. “It certainly is.”
Jace stood for a moment. “Um, as much as it’s wonderful to see you, Evie, why are you here?”
Evie shrugged. “I missed you,” she said in a quiet voice.
He thumbed over his shoulder, indicating outside, and grimaced. “And is the big guy, Mr. Rock-hard-muscles-who-will-smash-me-to-pieces or tear-me-limb-from-limb, gonna turn up next?”
She chuckled at his description of Stefan. Poor Jace had yet to see Stefan’s softer side. “Probably not.”
Jace lifted an eyebrow. “I was hoping it would be a ‘definitely not.’ I adore that you are here, but I also value my life, sweetheart.”
Closing her eyes, she bowed her head, trying to blink back tears. She had to make a decision. And make it now. Stefan or Jace? Rough or smooth? Dominant or submissive? Werewolf or human? She loved Stefan desperately, and she loved Jace equally.

New Covers, New Titles, Same Sizzling Paranormal Trilogy by K D Grace (@kd_grace) #erotica #romance #paranormal

K D Grace’s paranormal trilogy has had a makeover! The covers have been redone, along with a slight upgrade in the titles to better reflect their paranormal romance genre. The novels themselves are still both sizzling and chilling. And now they’re all dressed up for the summer heat.

The Lakeland Witches Trilogy

Book One: Body Temperature & Rising
American transplant to the Lake District, MARIE WARREN, didn’t know she could unleash demons and enflesh ghosts until a voyeuristic encounter on the fells ends in sex with the charming ghost, ANDERSON, and night visits from a demon. To help her cope with her embarrassing and dangerous new abilities, Anderson brings her to the ELEMENTALS, a coven of witches who practice rare sex magic that temporarily allows needy ghosts access to the pleasures of the flesh.

Book Two: Riding the Ether
Cassandra Larkin keeps her ravenous and dangerous sexual appetite secret until she seduces Anderson in the mysterious void of the Ether.  Anderson is the sexy, insatiable ghost who can give her exactly what she needs.
But sex is dangerous in a place like the Ether…
When the treacherous demon, Deacon, discovers the truth about the origin of Cassandra’s powerful lust, he plots to use her sex magic for revenge on Tara Stone and the Elemental Coven, who practice their own brand of sex magic.
Cassandra must embrace the lust and sexuality she fears and learn to use its power. Will she stand with Anderson, Tara, and the Elemental Coven against Deacon’s wrath or suffer the loss of friendship, magic and love?

Book Three: Elemental Fire
Obsessed with revenge, KENNET LUCIAN makes a deal with a demon, a deal he comes to regret when he meets TARA STONE, head of the Elemental Coven, and a powerful witch with a desire for revenge at least as great as his. Even though the attraction between the two is magnetic and the lust combustive, Kennet must betray her to accomplish his goal, which is ultimately her goal as well; to put a final end to the demon, Deacon’s, reign of terror. But can Tara trust the man who has wormed his way into her heart and the heart of the Elemental Coven? Can she trust LUCIA, the demon with whom Kennet is allied, a demon with her own agenda. The path to Deacon’s destruction is far from clear, and the price that must be paid to be free of him forever may be too high, even for Tara Stone.
DEACON, the demon Marie has unleashed, holds an ancient grudge against TARA STONE, coven high priestess, and will stop at nothing to destroy all she holds dear. Marie and her landlord, the reluctant young farmer, TIM MERIWETHER, are at the top of his list. Marie and Tim must learn to wield coven magic and the numinous power of their lust to stop Deacon’s bloody rampage before the coven is torn apart and more innocent people die.

Author Hot Seat Welcomes - Tabitha Rayne

The author hot seat specials are designed to help readers get to know both popular, and up and coming authors, a little better. The questions are broken into sections - About your writing, about you, fun stuff and finally. Some of the questions are easy, other may need a little more thought and some may cause our author friends to hesitate before answering—still, they all answer.

Today we have Tabitha Rayne sitting in the hot seat. Tabitha is currently on a blog tour for her new release, The Meeting Point. I'm happy to be helping Tabitha kick off her current tour by asking the must know questions on everyone's minds. So welcome, Tabitha, I can wait to hear your answers.

Getting Started:

Tell us about your latest book. What was your inspiration for writing it, is it part of an ongoing series, the characters, the genre etc?
Hello Jan - and thank you for having me! This latest book, The Meeting Point, is the final book in my erotic fantasy The Clockwork Butterfly trilogy. It's set in the not too distant future and combines two of my biggest obsessions – sex and the end of the world. Luckly the apocalypse is peppered with the erotic, making it all the easier to cope with.

About your writing:

How many books have you written during your career so far and which is your favorite?
I have written six novels, one novella and lots of short stories. The Meeting Point trilogy is my current favourite but it usually the one you are working on or promoting as that is the newest and freshest – and since your style is always evolving, it is the always a little bit better than what came before, I think.

Have any of your books received negative reviews and how did you handle the situation?
I had one review where the reader just felt the book ended too abruptly. I was jumping up and down in my room waving my hands and saying, “Wait! It's the first in a trilogy – don't worry – you'll find out what happens!” - I try to be philosophical once my work is out there – to be honest, if you've been a writer for a long time, you've probably become used to being rejected by editors and publishers so you will be quite used to it by the time your book is actually for sale!

Do you believe in writer’s block and if so, how do you overcome it?
Yes. It is hell for the creative spirit. Luckily – I channel that energy into drawing naked ladies so that helps immensly. I have struggled with my writing over the past few months actually. It's awful! I'm a horror if I don't make at least one thing every day.

What is the one genre you would never write and why?
I'm not sure – I don't think I could write horror or mystery where awful things happen to people or animals – just no way! I can't even read them. No, I think I need some gentle (and not so gentle) loving to be part of my plotlines.

Have you ever written a book that you’ve regretted publishing and why?
I am always very strict with myself about this – if it doesn't feel right – it's not going out! I know how fragile a place it can be if your work comes from a very deep and secret place inside – to expose it is a gift and a curse. I admire people who can do it freely. Or appear to do so. It can take a lot out of you. I've got lots of stuff hidden away never to be seen by another soul ;)

If a reader said they wanted to write a book, what advice would you give them?
Well, that's a hard one. If you're doing it just for yourself, then you would have probably started it by now. However, if you've always wanted to but just not had the guts – I'm afraid, you just have to sit your bum on a seat and get your fingers tapping. It's not easy and you have to be prepared that the first attempts might be rubbish. But hey – you might be awesome – and a debut bestseller, so go for it. Writing is something that is more like an affliction – you can't not do it. If you're doing it to make money, then for goodness sake, ask someone else for advice then report back to me :D

About you:

Tell us what a typical day in your life is like?
Well, basically like all romance writers, I swan around in a pink negligee with a libation in one hand and quill in the other, taking lovers and writing it all down ;)

What sort of things put you in a bad mood?
Meanness and cruelty – and not getting enough sleep.

Do you have a bucket list and what’s one thing you still want to do that you haven’t done?
I wanted to do a bungee jump but one of my retinas isn't very secure so I was advised against it – I will usually go ahead and do anything – especially if I'm told not to – but this time, I listened to the rules. I would like to invent something that would help people have fun without impacting nature.

What makes you laugh?
Laughing is one of my all time favourite things – I love those text typo things that people share online – I could pee myself laughing at those. My friend Lily Harlem makes me laugh a lot!

What is the most embarrassing thing you’ve ever done?
Oh no fair! I'm clumsy and trip a lot, so it would probably be something silly like that. I probably put kisses at the end of important business emails far too many times...

Do you like to read and what are you reading at the moment?
I'm reading Secrets and Lords by Justine Elyot. Love her books. I read every night but I'm very slow – about a page at a time then I forget what happened and have to read it again.

If you couldn’t write anymore, what would you do instead?
Draw naked ladies :D

Fun Stuff:

If you could go out with one famous person who would it be and why?
Christian Bale – oooo sexy smoldering method acting raunchy sizzling beast that he is!

Do you have a habit that drives your partner/friends/family nuts and what is it?
I hold my spoon on the tips of my fingers and dangle it. Drives people crazy. I don't know why – I didn't even know I did it until one of my friends went mad, saying it had bugged her for years.

In your opinion, what makes a person attractive?
Generosity, smiley eyes.

What is the strangest food you’ve ever eaten?
Duck's feet stew. What was I expecting? Honestly.

Would you rather have a classic 1969 convertible Mustang or have the use of a beach side condo any time you want?
Oh you meanie! Ok – I'll take the condo :D

And finally:

Would you rather survive an apocalyptic event (yes, even a zombie apocalypse) or die instantly without knowing what happened to your family and friends?
Well – actually – if you read my book – you'll find out the answer to that very question ;)

Thank you so much for letting me loose with your questions – this was fun!

I thought that to entice you to follow my tour, I'd put consecutive excerpts every day here is no 1 of 10 ;)

“I’m sorry if I treated you badly.” Deborah addressed the woman behind her, but kept her gaze ahead. The land seemed to stretch out forever. Grasses, trees, and moorland filled the view until it sloped gently into the horizon. It humbled her in a way that made her want to fall to her knees in both grief and joy.
“You never did what I didn’t need, Mistress.” The words of Deborah’s companion hit her in the back like tiny darts, reminding her of her actions. She turned.
“I am no longer your Mistress, Cheryl.”
“If you say so, ma’am.” Cheryl’s voice threw Deborah. She spoke with the defiance she had been cultivating over the past few months. Deborah actually felt sad when she saw how her submissive had changed. She knew there had never been a spiritual intimacy between them, but there had been a strange companionship and understanding. That seemed to have vanished recently and a real disdain had grown.
“You may go your own way now, Cheryl.” The prison building loomed at their backs and Deborah was anxious to get moving—anxious to find her true love. The other horse drew up, shoulder to shoulder with hers.
“Would you mind if I rode with you for a while?” Cheryl said softly, with a hint of what used to pass between them.
“No,” Deborah said gently. “I wouldn’t mind at all.” And with a flick of her heel, she kicked the great beast between her thighs into action. Her heart thundered at the same speed as the hooves that carried her. Adrenalin coursed through her and a lump of excited emotion grew in her throat as she smiled into the wind that lashed her face...

Blurb – The Meeting Point

A story of love, freedom, and the future of mankind. Deborah Regan has broken free from the prison where she’s been unjustly held for the past eight years. The scale of the devastation to the land outside is overwhelming. Toxins have taken hold, and the planet is dying. Deborah vows to find her lover Marcus and flee to the safety of the hills where their story first began.

Marcus is one of the few remaining men left on earth, and Deborah finds him held captive at a pleasure farm where he is kept to service rich and powerful women. Escape for him is complex and dangerous. They can only hope that the trio who helped Deborah before will come to their aid. Marcus has heard from his clients over the years of a mythical place with its own microclimate that toxin clouds seem to miss. He is sure they can find it and will be able to build a future together.

Mae, Lena, and Angelo feel compelled to find Deborah and Marcus who they know have a special connection that might prove essential to their survival. They make haste to track the couple and realize the plan they have chosen is fraught with danger and conflict.

Will they make it to the utopia Marcus dreams of?

Author Hot Seat Welcomes Mackenzie Williams

The author hot seat specials are designed to help readers get to know both popular, and up and coming authors, a little better. The questions are broken into sections - About your writing, about you, fun stuff and finally. Some of the questions are easy, other may need a little more thought and some may cause our author friends to hesitate before answering—still, they all answer.

Today we welcome Mackenzie Williams to the hot seat. She's currently promoting her second book, The Orchard: Save Me. You can find an excerpt from the book after her interview. Now, lets see what Mackenzie has to say.

Getting Started:

Tell us about your latest book. What was your inspiration for writing it, is it part of an ongoing series, the characters, the genre etc?
My latest book is the second in a series about a BDSM club.  This one is called The Orchard: Save Me.  Megan's past is interfering with her chance to have a happy future with Master Brad.

About your writing:

How many books have you written during your career so far and which is your favorite?
I am fairly new to writing.  I have two books out now and I am writing my third.  I don't think I have a favorite but my first book is very special to me.

Have any of your books received negative reviews and how did you handle the situation?  Thankfully I haven't read a really negative review, yet.  It is hard not to take those kinds of things personally, though.

Do you believe in writer’s block and if so, how do you overcome it?
I think writer's block can happen.  I haven't been really blocked but I have had times where it seems like I can't see the path where the story is headed.  I try to just force words out and usually after a while, they start to come faster.

What is the one genre you would never write and why?
I don't know about never but I think it would be difficult for me to write historical fiction.

Have you ever written a book that you’ve regretted publishing and why?
No, not yet.

If a reader said they wanted to write a book, what advice would you give them?
I would tell them to go for it.  You never know how far you can go unless you try.

About you:

Tell us what a typical day in your life is like?
A typical writing day includes a quick run and then lots of coffee.  I try to write for a few hours before lunch.  Usually after that, my brain has trouble staying focused.

What sort of things put you in a bad mood?
Being too busy to write, slow drivers when I'm in a hurry, being bored.

Do you have a bucket list and what’s one thing you still want to do that you haven’t done?
I don't have a list but one thing I'd love to do is more traveling.  More international traveling.

What makes you laugh?
I like a wide variety of stand-up comedians.

What is the most embarrassing thing you’ve ever done?
No comment.  :)

Do you like to read and what are you reading at the moment?
I do love to read but currently I've been too busy to start any books.  I have a few books by Cherise Sinclair on my "to read" list.

If you couldn’t write anymore, what would you do instead?
Maybe I would try my hand at being an editor.

Fun Stuff:

If you could go out with one famous person who would it be and why?
I would have to say Channing Tatum.  We would go dancing.  Well, I might just watch.

Do you have a habit that drives your partner/friends/family nuts and what is it?
They would say talking about my writing too much.  :)

In your opinion, what makes a person attractive?
Confidence and humor are big.  Physically I would say their eyes.

What is the strangest food you’ve ever eaten?
I've tried rattlesnake.  That is pretty strange for me.

Would you rather have a classic 1969 convertible Mustang or have the use of a beach side condo any time you want?
Both!  A lot of people in my family own Mustangs but I do love the beach.

And finally:

Would you rather survive an apocalyptic event (yes, even a zombie apocalypse) or die instantly without knowing what happened to your family and friends?
Uummm, survive.  Even though it wouldn't be fun, I am a nosy person.  I would want to know how things ended up.

Excerpt:
After Megan was finished dressing, Brad leaned down and kissed her. The kiss was gentle and probing. He wanted to feel her emotions. She did not disappoint. Megan returned his kiss with a tenderness that spoke of more than just lust.
“Did I mention how cute your ass looks in those panties?” He lightly ran his fingers over the ruffles.
“Thank you.” Megan shimmied her butt.
“Sweet, shall we go have a drink before I rip them off again?”
Megan wrapped her arms around her Master’s waist and smiled up into his face. “Yes, please, but can I ask for a favor?”
“You can ask but I can’t promise anything.” Brad smirked.
“Can we sit near Master Jesse and Kellie, if they’re still here?”
Brad’s eyebrow cocked up in a question. “So you, too, have the hots for Master Jesse?”
Brad could see Megan’s cheeks blush instantly. “No, I just wanted to talk to Kellie.”
Brad smiled with mischief. “I know. I was teasing you. I’m confident where I stand in your eyes.” He bent down for another sweet kiss and wrapped his arms around her.
Megan pulled back with a more serious look. “I just hope I’m as important in your eyes. I see how certain subs look at you.”
“Who?” Brad’s face twisted into confusion.
“That girl from last time.”
“Who, Mia?”
“Yes, but she’s not the only one.”
Brad gently pushed Megan’s head down so it was resting on his chest. He rested his chin on the top of her head and took a minute to just feel how good she felt in his arms.
“Little one, I have no intention on playing with anyone else anytime soon or letting you fall for someone else.”
Brad could feel his sub relax into his hold. Is this what others feel with their long-term subs?
After a minute of hugs, Brad was leading Megan through the main room with drinks in tow. His sweet had tensed when they first entered the room, presumably because she was still shy about walking around in her underwear. After a few minutes, she had relaxed.
It didn’t take him long to spot Master Jesse and his necklaced sub sitting nearby.
“May we join you?” Brad spoke to his fellow Dom. He noticed right away that Kellie shot her gaze down the minute he had started to speak. Master Jesse had such an obedient one but maybe too boring, Brad thought.
“Of course. Please.” Master Jesse gestured to a neighboring couch.
Brad signaled his sub to take a seat but before he could sit next to her, Master Nathan came up and put a hand on his shoulder.
“Master Brad, would you please come with me to the office? Security needs to speak with you briefly.”
“Security?” Megan spoke out of turn.
Brad turned and gave his slave a disapproving glare. Megan turned her head to look at the floor. At least she has the courtesy to look guilty, Brad thought. The Dom returned his stare to Master Nathan.
“Certainly.” Brad then turned to his friend. “Master Jesse, will you please keep an eye on my little one for me?”
“Yes, of course.”
Brad gave Megan a reassuring squeeze on the back of her neck. She looked up at him with a little concern in her eyes. Brad managed a small smile and then turned to follow Master Nathan. Truthfully, he was a little concerned as well. What did security want with him?
The two men walked up the back stairs and entered the office. There were two security personnel inside the office. One was sitting at the computer.
“Master Brad, we just wanted to advise you about something we saw earlier in the parking lot,” the man at the computer said.
Confusion spread through Brad. “OK.”
“On camera we have your sub arriving and exiting her car. The thing that concerned us is that she was followed.”
