Hello My Name Is - Giveaway Hop #Hello2016

I'm happy to be participating in this blog hop. We’re ringing in the New Year with lots of giveaways! And by sharing some fun and wacky facts about ourselves. There’s a new giveaway at each stop so be sure to visit them all! The list of participants can be found at the end of this post.
So let's get started.

Hello my name is Jan and here a few facts you may not know about me.
1: I write under my real name, rather than a pen name.
2: My favorite color is purple.
3: I still have the first teddy bear I was ever given and his name is Daggy bear.
4: The romance genre I prefer to read is paranormal romance.
5: I like watching cooking shows on TV but rarely cook the recipes they show.
6: I studied psychology at University but never worked as a psychologist. I often use what I learned during character development for my books.
7: I started writing my first book because I wanted to do something I hadn't done before. I didn't think I'd ever publish it or write more books.
8: Last Halloween I went to an interactive screening of Rocky Horror Picture Show with my friends. We all had a ball.
9: I don't really like chocolate and rarely eat it.
10: I have a new book releasing tomorrow and that's the giveaway for this Blog.

There are three ways to go in the draw to win a copy of my new book, Resisting Love. Check out the Rafflecopter entry at the end of the post but first take a peek at the prize you could win.

Resisting Love
Hot in the City Bk 2
Kenzie Stuart is an artist who’s finally started to achieve her dream. She doesn’t need anything to interfere with that, especially a relationship. Her number one rule when it comes to men is, love them and leave them, without getting emotionally involved. This worked perfectly until she met Justin. When Kenzie realized she cared for him, her only option was to leave, but she didn’t merely walk away from the man she loved. Kenzie ran like the wind, determined to never look back.

Justin Davies waited until he thought Kenzie was ready to accept his affection. He believed he did everything required in order to win her heart, but Kenzie still walked out, leaving him to nurse his wounded heart. Despite everything, he wants her back and this time Justin has thrown the rule book out the window. He’ll recapture Kenzie anyway he can. By fair means or foul, he's determined to break down her resistance to love.

  5. I'm terrible with languages. I love so many of them and, for many years, I keep on trying to learn varying ones. Though I just mentally can't stick with it. In high school, I did more than three and a half years of Spanish but I just can't remember much of it.

    1. I hear you, Catherine. I'm not good with languages and the french I studied in high school is totally lost now.
